Poochie Poo Pickup

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we do?

Poochie Poo Pickup comes to your house or commercial property on a regularly scheduled basis to clean up what your dog leaves behind. We are a dog poop pick up service!

How do I start up service?

It's super simple to start up service! Click on the ‘Schedule a Poo Pickup’ tab and fill out your information. It should only take approximately two minutes or less! Once we get your email we will reply back to confirm your scheduled service.

What are your service areas?

Please see the area marked out on or our service perimeter map.

Do we work year round?

Yes, your pet does not stop their business so neither do we!

Do I have to be there when it is my scheduled service day?

Nope! Most people work during the day and find it difficult to arrange a time to be home. However, if you want to be there the first day, for whatever reason, we can arrange a time to meet you and your dog. Just let us know!

Should I Unlock My Gate?

Yes please! We will not climb or jump over fences. Please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock if that is convenient for you.

What happens if you can’t get in to my yard?

The first time, we’ll waive the charges for that day and contact you to resolve the issue. Any future occurrences you will be charged regular fees. (If we have to miss a day the next visit will have more waste to scoop)

Can We Work With Your Dog In The Yard?

If your dogs are friendly, and will allow strangers in your yard then we have no problem working with them in the yard. If your dog(s) are aggressive, we will need to know before hand and make sure the dog(s) are inside during your service visit.

What Happens If The Weather Is Bad?

We work in just about any weather conditions. However, we will not work in lightning, or severe thunderstorms. But if the rain is ruled unsafe to work in, we will get your yard the next day that is cleared to work.

Ice and Snow: If there is ever any ice or snow on the roads or ground we will not be able to scoop until all roads are safe for us to travel and the yards are clear. If we have to miss the visit due to inclement weather we will pick it up on your next scheduled day. No credit will be given because we are picking up two weeks of waste on the next visit.

Is dog waste good for my lawn?

Absolutely not! Dogs eat a protein based diet. Dog waste contains bacteria and parasites that can be harmful to your family, pets and lawn. So removal at least once a week is strongly recommended!

How do you dispose of the waste?

It is removed from your property and disposed of in accordance with township regulations.

How am I billed?

We will email you a statement on the 15th of each month. This statement is a bill for your next month's service. Your statement lists the services you will receive and the amount due. Payment is always due on the 1st of each month. If we don't receive payment by the 10th we will be forced to suspend service until payment is made. New customers will be billed for the current month and it is due before service.

What Methods of payment does Poochie Poo Accept?

We accept PayPal payments through the "Payment" button on our web site, which in turn allows you to pay by all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express—just choose "Don't have a PayPal account?" to pay by credit card. We also accept Interac e-Transfers, cash and/or cheque/money order. Please make cheques/money orders out to ‘Matt Neiman’.

Do I Have To Sign A Contract?

No contracts. Ever. We can adjust your service over the phone or via email to fit your needs at any time!

What If I Want To Skip A Day Or I Go On Vacation?

Please email us 48 hours advance, so we do not come to your property. Credits will be reflected on your next months invoice.

How can I start or stop service?

Email us. We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations please.
